  • Day 1: Overnight flight

    History, palaces, and pretzels bigger than your head are waiting for you—but first, an overnight flight to Berlin.

  • Day 2: Arrive in Berlin + Welcome Dinner

    Welcome to Germany. Your first stop, Berlin, is both the capital of and largest city in Deutschland. We’ll start exploring tomorrow, but tonight…we eat.

    Today's highlights:

    • Land at the airport and meet an EF representative.
    • Transfer to your accommodations and check in.
    • Meet your Tour Director and get deets on tomorrow’s schedule.
    • Head to a local spot for an included dinner with your group.
  • Day 3: Explore Berlin

    Join a local guide for a sightseeing tour of Berlin’s most iconic sites. This is a city steeped in history, art, and a wide array of sausage options, so there’s a lot to see.

    Today's highlights:

    • Walk Kurfürstendamm, the main boulevard, lined with high-end shops, bars, and theaters.
    • Visit the Rathaus Schöneberg town hall, where JFK spoke in 1963.
    • Stand beneath Brandenburg Gate, a symbol of European unity and peace.

    Free time suggestions

    Reichstag building: Head to the seat of the German parliament, built in 1894 (restored in the ’60s) and home to a stunning glass dome with 360º views of Berlin.

    Berlin Wall memorial: Immerse yourself in history at this memorial commemorating the division of Berlin during the Cold War.

  • Day 4: Free day in Berlin

    Berlin is regarded as one of the most eclectic cities in all of Europe, known for diversity, self-expression, and a vibrant nightlife. Go have yourself a day.

    Free time suggestions

    Tiergarten: Post up in Berlin’s largest and most popular inner-city park. A great spot for a picnic, a long walk, or just some people watching.

    East Side Gallery: Visit the longest-standing section of the Berlin Wall, which has been transformed into a permanent, open-air art gallery.

    Markthalle Neun: Grab a bite of Germany’s best street food from one of the countless vendors at this popular indoor food market.

  • Day 5: Travel to Nuremberg + sightseeing

    Known for its medieval architecture, including the beautifully-preserved Imperial Castle, Nuremberg is exactly what you picture when you think Germany.

    Today's highlights:

    • Travel from Berlin to Nuremberg by bus.
    • Tour this medieval city with your group and a local guide.
    • Visit sites like the Hauptmarkt, Schöner Brunnen, and Handwerkerhof.
  • Day 6: Free day in Nuremberg + optional Rothenburg ob der Tauber trip

    Nuremberg may feel like a fairytale, but believe us when we say that this place is very real. Today’s all yours to explore on your own or head out on the optional excursion.

    Visit Rothenburg ob der Tauber (extra cost)

    Take a walking tour of this straight-out-of-a-storybook medieval village before enjoying some free time to explore on your own.  

  • Day 7: Travel to Munich + guided tour

    Make your way to a major center of German art, music, and innovation. Considered by many to be the best beer destination in the world, it’s no wonder that it was rated as the world’s most livable city.

    Today's highlights:

    • Board your bus, grab a window seat, and start dreaming of Munich.
    • Follow a local guide on a tour of Munich’s main attractions including Frauenkirche and Marienplatz.
    • Stop by the world-famous Hofbräuhaus for a stein and a gute Zeit.
  • Day 8: Raise a stein at Oktoberfest

    Today’s the day you become an honorary German at Oktoberfest. We’re talkin’ brews and brats out the wazoo and accordion music that’ll knock your lederhosen off.

    Today's highlights:

    • Head to your Oktoberfest tent and grab a table with your group.
    • Fill up on massive soft pretzels in between steins of local bier.
    • Explore the games and entertainment around the grounds.
  • Day 9: Free day in Munich + Farewell Dinner

    Falling in love with the city yet? Munich is so darn charming, you can almost hear it whispering sweet nothings in your ear (but they're in German, good luck with that). Enjoy the last day of your trip before chowing down on one final meal with your group.

    Viktualienmarkt: Eat and drink your way through the delicious array of options in this massive farmer’s market and beer garden.

    Bier-Und Oktoberfest Museum: Discover the culture of Munich’s Oktoberfest celebrations as well as the history of beer. Uh, yes please.

    Nymphenburg Palace: Munich’s beautiful 17th-century Baroque palace is surrounded by stunning symmetrical gardens, complete with huge fountains and a lovely canal.

    Englischer Garten: One of the world’s largest urban parks, this English-style garden features beer gardens, a Chinese pagoda, and a spot that’s famous for...river surfing.

  • Day 10: Fly home

    Auf Wiedersehen, Freunde!  Translation: goodbye, friends! Your next destination awaits—home. But this isn’t goodbye. It’s “See you later.” The only question is, where?
