Out of Office: Barcelona, Paris & London

By Hannah H.

Hannah just got back from Barcelona, Paris & London, and is seriously missing those afternoon siestas. When the jet lag wore off, we sat down with her to hear all about the foods she tried, the landmarks she saw, and the things that surprised her.

Name: Hannah

Trip: Barcelona, Paris & London

Tour Director: Antonio

Best thing you ate: We did a cooking class in Barcelona with a Catalonian chef. Our group made sangria and paella—it was delicious.

What's on your travel playlist: Whenever I hear "Despacito" I immediately flashback to being in the London Tube with some friends I made on the trip, dancing to a street performer's rendition of it.

Favorite travel snack: I don't snack much, so maybe a glass of wine.

Selfie sticks: genius or horrendous?: Horrendous. You don’t need to be in a picture for a landmark to be important.

Favorite city you visited: London...it really wowed me. It was so international, and there was something different around every corner.

Peanuts or pretzels: Pretzels.

Travel tip for this trip: Research things you want to see beforehand, so you can make the most of your free time.

Coolest thing you did: Paddle boarding! There were huge, beautiful jellyfish all around us, and a girl on my trip swam for the first time in her life in the middle of the Mediterranean. It was unforgettable.
